Am I Blacklisted?

Updated: Mar 6, 2019

People who incur unnecessary debt find themselves in a position where they are no longer able to service those debts. Failure to pay debts has long-term consequences. Your name will be registered with the credit bureaus. The next time you apply for debt, your name will be flagged. This means you’ve been blacklisted and won’t qualify for a loan.

You are Blacklisted within the Consumer industry when certain negative information is placed on your Credit Bureau Profile. This information is placed by creditors whose accounts you did not honor as per agreement or by the attorney who have been tasked to collect on the accounts.

The information about the blacklisting can be found in your credit profile as held by the Major Credit Bureaus: Trans-Union Credit Bureau ; Experian Credit Bureau; Compuscan Credit Bureau and Xds Credit Bureau. To find out if you blacklisted on these credit bureaus, you can simply contact us to obtain your credit record.

Types of Blacklisting:

Failing to pay off furniture you bought on credit could mean that when you’re ready to settle down, you won’t qualify for a bond. Being blacklisted by the credit bureaus can derail your future plans.

The negative information #Blacklisting that will reflect on your credit report is as follows:

Default

This is an over due debt, with the information that is placed to alert other creditors that you have not honored your accounts.

A Default Listing - regardless whether is paid up or not - will be retained on your record for 2 years. And that is NOT even close to good news, trust in me.

You might have discovered that you have a default listing on your record, then you approach the credit provider and you settle the account with the hope that the listing will be removed. You are disappointed to find out that the credit provider has only updated the listing to show that the account was FULL PAID CONSEQUENT TO LISTING.

Judgment

Information that the judgment has been obtained in Court for an account/debt that you have not paid.

Debt Review

Information that you have volunteered to be placed under debt review.

Trace Alert

Information that you are being traced to pay an account.

Administration

Information that you have been placed (voluntarily) under administration.

The good news is that it is possible to clear your name with the credit bureaus. It might not be an easy road ahead. However, it’s worth it for your financial future if you can get yourself on the right side of the credit bureaus.

Let us assist you and claim your financial freedom back within 7-21 days.
